Octopus Over the Plaza

The sun was about to set in the Westlake Promenade, and a couple of friends were out enjoying a meal and idle chatter. They were eating invisible pizza from the recently closed California Pizza Kitchen that had once thrived there.
Rileysaur was drinking invisible soda. It’s (invisible) surface reflected not only the expressions of sheer joy from the friends, but the joy itself as well, too, also.

SoyChoi was drinking invisible lemonade and eating invisible barbecue chicken pizza. But enough about her.

J’O’Hadi was eating invisible barbecue chicken pizza. It’s golden and red hues glossed and glistened in the afternoon light.

Ellie was eating the leftovers of someone she had been biting earlier that day.

Suddenly, a giant floating octopus galloped up and out of Rileysaur’s mouth and over the plaza. Everyone appluaded! (applaud)
SoyChoi stood up to do a backflip, but all that occured was a very loud exclamation. “By Matthew, is this fun!”

Everyone began to dance as the octopus slowly descended on the Promenade, it’s shadow becoming darker and darker.

When the dance was over, the shadow had become the night sky.
“Look at the stars!” The command had come from J’O’Hadi and Ellie, simultaneously.
Everyone looked at each other and smiled. It was good to be back home.
